La Alameda Mexican

They have a buffet that is literally amazing. Everything on the bar is delicious. This buffet is also safe from unwashed customer's hands as they actually serve the portions to you. I frequently visit here and have never had a bad experience. The most recent visit was probably the best but it's hard to say for sure because I've never had a bad one. The food here is very authentic.

The buffet was wonderful , plenty of wonderful food to choose from, staff was friendly, store was clean and the food rating was 94

The staff were accommodating and very friendly. The prices were okay and not overly expensive. I loved my dish which was the shrimp, beef, and chicken fajitas. If I go again I think I would just get the buffet. There were a lot of options to choose from on the menu and the buffet. The decor was really colorful, warming, and just overall beautiful. The highlight of my night was seeing all the naturally grown prickly pear outside the restaurant.

Buffet is the best choice. Food is fairly good with lots of variety. Parking is not the best sometimes and you have to park in the back.

Great staff! Everyone was enjoyable and friendly and the strawberry/peach margarita was yummy. We would go again if on that side of town!

This joint was pretty good. Despite the minor language barrier, we received the correct order. The place is not huge and has an intimate atmosphere about it. The food and drinks were very tasty and well prepared. I didn't expect to receive such a large portion, so, as usual I ordered too much. I'm already making plans to return at my earliest opportunity.

I have eaten lunch at La Alameda several times over the years. It is standard Mexican food. While I have never had anything astoundingly great there, the food has always been good and inexpensive enough for me to go back without hesitation.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch with the family at La Alameda Mexican restaurant in Huntsville, Alabama. I visited this place about three or four years ago. We started off with the complementary fresh chips and Salsa. I enjoyed the lunch buffet and the rest of the family enjoyed their vegetarian options such as veggie fajitas and quesadilla. This is a good sit down Mexican restaurant.

This is my go to for Mexican food. The buffet is amazing. The nice little lady that usually works the buffet is my favorite part.

My family will never stop going here! These people know how to run a business. I have been eating here for years. Salsa comes in a tall container to pour into bowls as needed, the decorations are beautiful, and there is truly nothing more you could ask for in a Mexican buffet. All toppings, queso in a bowl, guacamole, rice, beans, chicken/beef enchiladas, bean burritos, chicken/beef burritos, chicken/steak fajitas, chicken/beef chile rellenos, tacos, and amazing tamales. I am probably forgetting something that is on their buffet, because it is truly that extensive and wonderful. Highly recommend!

Portion was great. I have enough for left overs. My favorite dish is the Arroz Alameda. The Filete Al Mojo De Ajo is a close second favorite dish. 😋

Friendly..fast service...I order the mixed fajitas for two..it came with a large serving which was nice. I just wish the fajitas had a little more seasoning like some of the other similar restaurants in the area..but it was pretty good..I will try this place again and just order a different item.

I've been eating at La Alameda for 20 years back when they were on University Drive. I mostly go for the lunch buffet which is hard to beat for $9. The staff are always very friendly.

First all you can eat Mexican buffet that I have ever had, and I can not believe it has taken me this long. The food was fantastic, very reasonable pricing, and a great atmosphere. My only regret was that I couldn't hold more food.

This place is so good!! I recommend going during the times of the buffet. Cheap Mexican food. The buffet is like $10 a person. For my fiancé and I it is $22.79 with two buffets, 1 water and 1 sweet tea. Amazing!!!

My favorite mexican restaurant in Huntsville. Their all you can eat buffet is cafeteria style which can make getting you food a bit more tough if you don't really know what the food is called but the staff will happily tell you(or correct you) what something is. Their food is great and the selection is better the other places I have been.
